As the Sept. 1 deadline to receive your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine approaches, view Part 4 in our Educational Video Series, where Dr. Linda Lang, President, Behavioral Health Service Line, discusses how to make informed decisions when feeling overwhelmed or anxious. Additionally, team members who wish to submit COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption Requests must do so by Sunday, Aug. 15.

New Patient Transport System Launching in Epic | Tuesday, Aug. 17
 
Effective Tuesday, Aug. 17, a new system-wide patient transport ordering tool will launch within Epic for requesting ambulances and wheelchair vans from Physician Transport Services.

Inova Announces Minimum Wage Decision
 
Beginning Sept. 1, 2021, Inova will increase the minimum wage for team members to $15.00 per hour. This new pay scale is part of our ongoing commitment to protecting the health and wellbeing of team members – including financial wellbeing – and is central to our core values to create an environment of respect and growth, where contributions are recognized and rewarded.
