Live a simpler, safer, less cluttered life.

Getting older isn't easy. There are aches and pains, spotty memory sometimes, people that treat us like children, and more. Many of us imagine walking into the sunset with our partner, but that doesn't always go according to plan. Aging with someone else has it's benefits and concerns, solo aging has others. Most of us will, at sometime, be aging alone. This can be by choice, the need for someone to live in a care community, divorce, or death of our partner. We are going to talk about what you need to think about now and when preparing to solo age. |

Manassas National Battlefield Park preserves the site of two major American Civil War battles: the First Battle of Bull Run, also called the Battle of First Manassas, and the Second Battle of Bull Run, or Battle of Second Manassas. This was where Confederate General Thomas J. Jackson acquired his nickname “Stonewall”. The park encompasses nearly 5,100 acres of land and includes more than 40 miles of hiking trails.
Easy Hike: Please note there is a gentle hill, unpaved terrain, and very little shade on this hike. Dogs are welcome on a leash. |
