We especially would like to thank everyone who made a donation to support Inova Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center (IPMDC) programs, so we can continue to offer them at no cost, making it easier for people to join in.
We love to hear from you! Please email sonia.gow@inova.org with your questions, suggestions, and comments.

Mornings with Parkinson’s – Why the first hours are often the hardest (And what can we do about them)” |
|
|
Mornings with Parkinson’s can often be the most challenging part of the day. The body tends to be stiff, the medication hasn’t taken effect yet, and simply getting out of bed and moving can feel like an enormous
effort.
Understanding these challenges can help you apply strategies to manage the first hours of the day. In this session, Josefa Domingos, PT PhD and John Dean MA CCC-SLP brainstorm ways to address the morning slowdown and provide you and your care partner with practical tools to make starting the day feel less daunting.
